You are cordially invited to my tea party...

Last week, a group of ladies from church took us to a cute little restaurant for an afternoon tea, complete with scones, one of many selections of gourmet tea (with cream and sugar!  I felt so fancy.), tea sandwiches, and dessert.

It was so cute and girly inside.   They even had vintage hats for people to try on.   Like a grown up tea party!

I remember the tea parties my sister and I used to have with our best friend and my "changing colored dishes".  We never actually had tea, though.   It was usually just water, or occasionally our specialty...chocolate water. ;)

Good times...

These might not technically be "blog-worthy" pictures because it was dark inside so they are a little grainy for my taste.  But I hope you enjoy them just the same. :)

I haven't posted anything for my photo challenge in a while, so I figured now was probably a good time.

I've been trying to think of something for #5: Shades of White, but nothing is coming to me yet.

Resurrection Day

I love Easter and everything about it.

It's so much more than just Easter bunnies and chocolate...it's the day we get to celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead!   The perfect ending to the most wonderful love story ever told.   <3

I wasn't able to take too many pictures on Easter since we were at church most of the day and then busy working on projects in the afternoon, but my sister and I always like to get a few shots in our new dresses.

My mom sewed them.   Isn't she the best?

Just some shots of some of the yummy food...I made the lemon cake. :)

 We ran out of time to do too many Easter eggs, but I put stickers on some and then did glitter polka dots the others.   I think they're kind of cute!

Kayla...Senior

I was priviledged to be able to take some senior pictures of my friend, Kayla.

She is sweet...beautiful...caring...and just awesome.

We had so much fun taking pictures, driving to different locations, and cracking up the whole time.
