Canada #2

Ready for the rest of the Canada pictures?

These were all taken with my new 50 mm lens that my mom gave me for graduation.
I haven't had the chance to do an actual "photo shoot" with it yet, but hopefully I'll do that this week if the rain clears up.

We had such a fun time with my aunt, uncle, and cousins, exploring Quebec.
I hope these pictures will give you a little taste of all the fun to be had in Canada...
especially with a group like ours...

The restaurant we stopped at for Poutine.   If you don't know what that is, keep scrolling down...
My cousin was just a little excited about it.
Voila!  Poutine.   French fries drenched with gravy and topped with a generous handful of cheese curds.   Probably the most unhealthy thing on the planet...
Oh, don't worry, I didn't eat all of it.   We shared...

 My cute cousin, Brittany...

 Cousins!
My brother makes model faces at the camera just for fun.
Of course, he didn't know this picture was actually going online... ;)

 Waiting for the metro...

 Exploring downtown...

Visiting a historical church in Montreal...

We went to a cute little restaurant that served different kinds of crepes.   So fun!
Siblings. :) They are the best.

My poor mom spent her birthday with a painful case of shingles in her mouth.   I didn't get a lot of pictures of her on the trip because she felt so horrible.   The only thing she could eat that wouldn't hurt her mouth was icecream.   So on the way back from shopping, we got her a big container of her very own icecream...
The Quebec flag.
Goodbye, Canada!
